King Evan turns 4!

So I always these pictures and they end up the opposite order I intend them to be in... whoops! Evan's preschool has a very special little ceremony for celebrating birthdays. Instead of cupcakes and treats, they let each family come in, prepared with a poster and pictures for each year of Evan's life. He got to be King for the day and celebrate by talking about each year - in between years he would take the Earth for a quick walk around the sun (set out by classmates he got to pick) to demonstrate the passing of each year. It was very sweet and Evan was very proud to be the birthday boy at school that day! Katie very much enjoyed playing with the sun too!

This face cracks us up. When he is really happy but tries not to smile, he pulls his top lip down over his teeth and tries so hard not to grin... it is hilarious. This picture almost captures it...
