Waiting...

Seems like these days we are doing a lot of it.. Waiting to sell our house in Edmond, waiting to close on our great new house in Noblesville, then we'll be waiting for our furniture to get here and get settled.... still waiting for this new addition to our family... I don't even know what I'm hoping for at this point. Having a newborn and moving is not appealing... moving and unpacking with a newborn is not appealing either?! At least we can be excited to have lots of help from our family and friends here in Indiana.

Our realtor in Edmond is freaking out because we've totally broken her 42 day record. She sells everything so fast, and there our house sits. Realistically, it has only been like 7 weeks I think - not bad really... but we didn't hope to break her 42 day record that is for sure. We keep having showings, so we're just going to have to wait and see. I am definitely TRYING, please note "TRYING" - and failing a bit miserably, not to freak out about having 2 mortgage payments. I assume I will be distracted here within the next week or so with a new baby, so hopefully that will help!

We close on our new house Monday and our things are supposed to arrive on Thursday sometime... I will post pictures as soon as I get a chance to do so! So then this week we'll have a couple days to get some groceries and stock the pantry, maybe get a little painting done if necessary. It is so nice,and yet weird?, ! to be moving into a house that really doesn't NEED a thing done to it before we move in. I'm mostly just wanting to make sure Evan's room will be done so that he can get familiar and comfortable in our new place as quickly as possible. The baby's room will be fun to get done too - Grammy is working on finishing up a BEAUTIFUL crib set. The quilt is so cute and I saw a bumper all done up yesterday. So excited to get it and get her room set up. But I know that technically there is no rush, as she obviously will not know the difference! But I will, and it will be fun to get it all done. The laundry room is an obnoxious color of kelly green, so we'll be anxious to paint that, but really, it is just a laundry room, so no one will see it but us anyway... so again, no hurry. Other than that, we are just thrilled to get into a house!

Baby is due to arrive next week, and my doc says I'm well on my way, so any day really. Obviously we will be keeping everyone in the loop with that info as well!
