Damage to my car totalled over $1400!! I am driving around all ghetto with plastic over my window and waiting for parts so they can fix my car. I have heard no more from the police... I'll follow up Monday, but I'm guessing I'm just screwed. But I'm hoping my mailbox will be flooded soon with my replacement cards. Do you know how weird it is to not have ANY money?! I went to get cash from the bank, but I had no ID, so couldn't. Well, I didn't have $10 to go get my new ID! I had to go home and dig around for my passport and that helped, but it has been an eye-opening experience for me. My mom bummed me some cash for gas that day and I actually wrote a check today at a store. I haven't done that in YEARS. I felt like a little old lady. alas...
my advice to you - make a list of everything you generally keep in your wallet and/or make a photo copy of everything as well. I had done that a long time ago and it helped a lot. (I just had to remember what all else had creeped in over time!) Oh, and FYI - if stuff is stolen out of your car, it counts as a claim on your homeowners policy... what a rip. Our deductible is high enough that it doesn't make sense to even claim anything I lost :( woe is me...At least no one was hurt!

That's just awful Allison! That makes me more careful of not leaving my purse. I bet you feel lost without all your stuff ((hugs))
